Retain the women your organisation can’t afford to lose
Structured coaching support for women navigating career transition, maternity, return-to-work and promotion moments.

Talented women often leave organisations at predictable inflection points. These moments, including maternity transitions, internal restructures, post-promotion wobbles, or returning from extended leave, are frequently where professional confidence dips and disengagement begins. When a woman stops feeling seen or supported through these specific shifts, it becomes a retention and talent issue that impacts the entire leadership pipeline.
The business case is clear. The question is whether your organisation is acting on it.

How Rooted & Rising supports your people
Most return-to-work programmes focus on the practical: childcare logistics, flexible working conversations, KIT days. Useful, but they don't address what actually causes attrition, which is the deeper identity shift the research calls matrescence.

Rooted & Rising goes further. The coaching is built on:
ICF Accredited Coaching Practice
Delivering measurable shifts in confidence, clarity and career trajectory
Somatic and embodied techniques
Which evidence increasingly shows are essential for working with burnout, overwhelm, and nervous system recovery
The Ground, Listen, Rise framework
A structured approach that gives your employees a clear path through what can otherwise feel formless
This is coaching that takes the transition seriously, which is precisely why it retains the women who go through it.
How we work with employers
Individual Programmes
Six or twelve sessions of 1:1 coaching for returning or working mothers in your organisation. Sessions are confidential, outcomes are reported in anonymised aggregate. Suitable for organisations who want to offer this as a benefit, retain specific high-potential talent, or respond to an identified retention risk.
Cohort Coaching Programmes
Small-group coaching for cohorts of returning mothers, typically six to eight women across three to six months. Combines coaching depth with peer connection, which the research shows is one of the strongest protective factors for retention.
Bespoke partnerships
For organisations ready to embed this work properly: a combination of cohort coaching, line manager workshops, and quarterly insight reports for your HR or DEI team. Designed with you, scaled to your organisation.
